Microsoft is planning to hold a press event on September 30 in San Francisco during which it is going to present the major functions of the next version of Windows.

As Microsoft spokesperson told WPCetral, they are going to present the basic public materials and details on Blogging Windows and Microsoft News Center right after the event. Still, the live stream will not be available for the event unlike the number of the previous events including the launch of Office for iPad, also held in San Francisco. The presentation of the Surface Pro 3 is also included in the list of the events covered by live stream.

After this event which is supposed to be the technology preview of the product there will also be the public version release the final release of which is planned to be during the spring 2015.

We are really impatient until September 30. When Microsoft will first introduce Windows 9 to everyone in tech world and not only! The event is going to take place in San Francisco where the so-called Windows Threshold will be first handed in to the scrutiny of the public.

There has been a range of screenshots and info leaks about Windows 9, and according to the freshest info, Windows 9 is going to support Cortana! Of course this is something we could expect from Microsoft since Cortana is one of the most innovative and modern technologies created by Microsoft.

 

And now we have some evidence for this, presented by the German site Winfuture. So the website presents some screenshots where we can see a range of modifications and options testing the work of Cortana. These are screenshots created for the technical partners of Microsoft and used for Windows Technical Preview. Most probably the first presentation will not include Cortana in the range of options and for this we need to wait until the official release of the system in spring of 2015 or for the primary versions of ARM-devices this winter.

So now we may just have a look at the screenshots we have at our disposal and make guesses about the exact time of the official release of this great technology for the coming creation of Microsoft.
